DUEF - Continuing Education status
You are a paid or unpaid job seeker, an employee, on leave of absence or on a training plan, you have refugee status, and you want to learn French? Are you looking for support from University teachers? The DUEF (Diplôme Universitaire d'Études Françaises) gives you the opportunity to acquire solid skills in French.

Whom is it for?
Be at least 18 years old and live in France
Have validated a Hight school diploma and mastering the Latin alphabet
At least A2 French language level validated with DELF, TCF or other certificate
BEGINNERS NOT ACCEPTED
What is it for?
Develop your spoken and written French skills
Prepare yourself for levels B1, B2, C1 of the CERCL
Participate in thematic modules, for example: History and Law, Arts and Literature, Geography and Architecture, Sciences and Engineering, Health and Sports, Economics and Political Science (open according to number of students)
Integrate the community of UJM students and participate in student activities (sports, culture...)
Working with students from all over the world
Validate a University degree in French
The curriculum is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages(CECRL) (PDF - 165 Ko).

what are The advantages?
Enrolling in the CILEC’s French course allows you to obtain the "Continuing Education status". This status is compatible with a request for the employer to cover training costs for employees or France Travail for job seekers (only upon presentation of an agreement in principle).
And what’s more, our center gives you access, free of charge, to:
- A media library (assistance by an archivist / teacher)
- A Student Welcome Desk that regularly organises outings, cultural visits and lots of other fun things to do

The CILEC is a DELF DALF exam center and offers two sessions a year (December and May).
How to APPLY?

Madatory for the application:
a French language certificate (TCF or DELF) at least A2, a Hight School diploma
You are a job seeker, RSA beneficiary, employee, on leave or training plan, refugee, under subsidiary or temporary protection.
You wish to apply for funding of your training with a third party (France Travail, employer, social organization...).
